Reneé Rayles is a reporter covering Georgia’s film news. She is also an actor featured in network television and national commercials. She is the founder of T1D Women, a platform dedicated to supporting women and girls with type 1 diabetes, and a passionate advocate for affordable insulin and health equity. In 2025, she received the Award of Excellence in TV Reporting from the Atlanta Press Club for her story, “Choosing Between Rent or Your Life-Saving Insulin.”

Type 1 Diabetes Advocate
​After being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, Reneé Rayles founded T1D Women to support women and girls with T1D and their families. She created the T1D Women Summit, later expanding it to Zoom events with practitioners for a global audience. Her social media highlights living transparently with T1D. In 2022, her platform reached over 22 million views, and she has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, LinkedIn News, Endocrine Now, and the ADA. A passionate advocate for affordable insulin, she has spoken at rallies with President Obama and Senator Warnock.


Actor
Reneé Rayles is an actor featured in network television and national commercials. She is a trained improviser and studied at The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, as well as Upright Citizens Brigade and The Second City in Chicago. She is also trained in Meisner technique and continues to train weekly in on-camera acting and improv.
